Reporting a Highways or Rights of Way issue to Suffolk County Council
You can report problems easily online using the Highways Reporting Tool.
The Highways Reporting Tool allows you to report a new defect and monitor the status of existing reports.
Do not report a highways problem online if:
- it poses an immediate danger to public safety - call 0345 606 6171
- it’s on a trunk road in Suffolk - call the National Highways Information Line on 0300 123 5000
- it's on a private road

The Highways Reporting Tool allows you to report a range of problems including:
- Condition or roads or pavements (including potholes, road gullies)
- Bridges
- Drainage and flooding
- Rights of way (footpaths and bridleways)

- Roadworks
- Signs, barriers and bollards
