The village pub is the Affleck Arms. It is a sixteenth century Elizabethan thatched pub, popular with villagers and weekend walkers.

The Affleck's opening times are:

  • Thursday & Friday  3:00pm to 10:00pm
  • Saturday & Sunday 12:00pm (midday) to 11:00pm

The pub serves a good range of beers, spirits, wine, soft drinks and snacks, with food vans on some days.

It has a front garden on the river and a large rear patio garden adjacent to the car park.
