National Highways plan to carry out resurfacing work on the A14 eastbound between junctions 38 and 40.
They plan to complete this work over three nights between Monday 9 December and Thursday 12 December 2024, working between 8pm and 6am, weather permitting.
Closures and diversions
To carry out the work safely, they will need to close the A14 between junctions 38 and 40 and divert traffic as follows:
- Traffic travelling eastbound on the A14 will exit at junction 38 onto the A11, continuing up towards Thetford. At Thetford Roundabout take the third exit onto London Road and then turn left onto Elveden Road. Turn right onto the A134 and continue down to rejoin the A14 at junction 43.
